Day Program Services
The Adult Enrichment Center (AYEC) has a lively and supportive program to assist the people with development impairments community and mental health problems. Our program takes place Monday through Friday and offers a wide range of activities designed to promote self-growth, skill development, and community engagement.
Daily Schedule and Activities
Daily Topic Exploration: Through time that is not liked for other activities, maybe due to the level of satisfaction, interest, or skill levels, we have separate sessions for each client. We have used the clients' likes on activities, courses, and trips to accomplish all of their directions and needs respectively. This method of individualized instruction increases targeted skill development and allows a more meaningful involvement.
Morning Routine: We kick-off each day with a warm welcome during which clients are given the opportunity to tell us about their evening activities, to let out their feelings and wishes and to get affirmations from the rest of the group.
